You might know me as a musician who used to play out a lot in the Portland Oregon area, or as a software engineer specializing in business apps, configuration management, and DevOps. You might know me as a private pilot of small single engine fixed wing aircraft, or maybe know me from my Astronomy hobby. What you may not know about are the various hobby-projects I’ve been a part of, and this blog hopes to rectify that.

Perhaps I can inspire folks to jump outside their comfort zone and tackle something new. The best way to learn, I feel, is to be ambitious, and perhaps in over your head, and embrace the challenge of finding the answers to difficult problems.
